ProGrub 250g

Professionally formulated insect nutrition. Insects and larvae reared on a nutritious diet are bigger and healthier. Their nutritional value is improved and they remain in prime condition for longer storage periods. ProGrub contains 63g/kilo of Calcium and can be used to gut-load your insects prior to consumption.

It is rich in protein with a Calcium/Phosphorous ratio and contains D3 (2000 iu/kg) to aid Calcium uptake in reptiles, birds and amphibians.  Use only as a diet for insects, use in conjunction with your usual livefood supplements and ultraviolet light programme.

How to Feed ProGrub to livefoods

Mealworms:  (All sizes)  Keep the mealworms in a smooth sided plastic container with a  maximum depth of worms and ProGrub no more than 1.5".  Add fresh vegetable matter (carrot/potato) to the surface, as and when, necessary.

PROGRUB can be mixed with equal parts of bran to lighten the texture for the worms if desired.

Crickets: (All sizes)  Place a saucer of ProGrub in a cricket keep or container. Provide fresh vegetable matter (slices of carrot or potato) daily. Keep these vegetables separate and do not allow the ProGrub to become damp.

Locusts: (All sizes)  Place a saucer of ProGrub in a locust cage or container and provide fresh cabbage.
